Terms & Conditions

The Pretrimester | Dr. Laura Costello, PT, DPT

Effective Date: October 18, 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to The Pretrimester.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.drlauracostello.com (the "Website") and the products, programs, educational materials, and services offered by The Pretrimester ("we," "us," or "our").

Our offerings may include books, downloadable resources, online courses, educational workshops, fertility and preconception coaching, consultations, and licensed women's health physical therapy services.

By accessing the Website, creating an account, purchasing a product, or enrolling in a program, you agree to these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Some offerings are governed by additional purchase terms, informed consent documents, or professional service agreements. Where such agreements apply, they govern the relevant offering to the extent of any conflict.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Website and do not purchase or access our offerings.

2. Educational Purpose and Medical Disclaimer

The Pretrimester provides educational information concerning women's health, menstrual health, fertility, preconception health, fertility preservation, egg freezing, assisted reproductive technologies, pregnancy preparation, nutrition, physical activity, pelvic health, and related topics.

Unless expressly provided within an established licensed healthcare relationship, our content and educational products are intended for general informational and educational purposes only.

They do not constitute individualized medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.

Accessing educational materials, subscribing to communications, or purchasing an educational product does not, by itself, establish a healthcare provider-patient relationship.

Please review our separate Medical Disclaimer for important information about health-related content, professional boundaries, and individual medical decisions:

https://www.drlauracostello.com/medical-disclaimer

Nothing in these Terms limits professional duties, patient rights, or obligations arising from an established healthcare provider-patient relationship.

3. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

By using this Website or purchasing an offering, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement or have any consent required by applicable law.

You agree to use the Website and its resources for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or protected content.

  • Interfere with Website security or functionality.

  • Introduce malicious software or engage in fraudulent activity.

  • Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit protected materials without authorization.

  • Share paid course access or account credentials without permission.

  • Use the Website or its services to violate another person's legal rights.

We may take reasonable action to address misuse, security concerns, or material violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property and Copyright

Unless otherwise indicated, the original content available through The Pretrimester, including articles, books, courses, videos, presentations, educational frameworks, illustrations, worksheets, downloads, photographs, branding, and other materials, is owned by The Pretrimester or used with appropriate permission.

All applicable intellectual property rights are reserved.

Purchasing a digital product grants the purchaser a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use the purchased materials for personal, noncommercial purposes, subject to the applicable purchase terms.

Purchasers may download or print resources expressly provided for personal use.

Without prior written authorization or another lawful basis, materials may not be reproduced, distributed, republished, sold, sublicensed, or shared with others.

Unauthorized sharing of course recordings, digital materials, or account access is prohibited.

Nothing in these Terms restricts uses expressly permitted under applicable law.

5. Educational Products and Course Access

The Pretrimester may offer books, self-paced courses, downloadable resources, workshops, and other educational products.

Each offering's included materials, pricing, payment arrangements, and access conditions will be described in the applicable product information or checkout.

We may update educational content to improve clarity, correct errors, or reflect evolving information, provided those changes respect the rights and commitments applicable to existing purchases.

Retrieval Ready Course Access

Purchasing Retrieval Ready includes ongoing access to the purchased course lessons and included digital resources for as long as Retrieval Ready remains available and maintained by The Pretrimester.

Access includes updates made to the purchased course at no additional charge.

Course access does not automatically include separately purchased coaching, consultations, future standalone products, or other services.

If Retrieval Ready is permanently discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and, where technically and legally permissible, an opportunity to download eligible resources.

We will honor the access rights expressly promised to purchasers at the time of purchase and any additional rights provided by applicable law.

Course availability may depend on third-party learning platforms, including Kajabi.

6. Accounts and Security

Certain products require an account or login credentials.

Users are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect account credentials and notifying us if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.

Course access is intended for the individual purchaser unless another arrangement is expressly authorized.

Unauthorized account sharing, resale, or distribution of access is prohibited.

We may take reasonable measures to protect accounts, course materials, and platform security, consistent with applicable law.

7. Pricing, Purchases, and Payment Plans

Prices, payment options, applicable taxes, and additional charges will be disclosed at or before checkout.

By purchasing an offering, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the disclosed charges under the payment terms you accept.

Prices may change for future purchases but will not alter amounts contractually agreed upon for completed purchases.

Payment Plans

Some offerings may be available through installment payments.

When a payment plan is offered, the total purchase price, installment schedule, and applicable payment obligations will be disclosed before purchase.

An installment plan for a fixed-price product is not automatically a recurring membership or subscription.

Unless otherwise provided by the applicable purchase agreement or law, an installment arrangement represents an agreement to pay the disclosed total purchase price according to the agreed schedule.

Any separately offered subscription or recurring service will identify its billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions before purchase.

No undisclosed recurring charges will be imposed.

8. Retrieval Ready: Conditional 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Retrieval Ready includes a conditional 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee for purchases expressly advertised as eligible for this guarantee.

We want purchasers to have a meaningful opportunity to participate in the program and evaluate whether it helps them feel more prepared to navigate their egg retrieval experience.

Refund Eligibility

A purchaser may request a full refund under this guarantee when all of the following conditions are met:

  1. The purchase was made through an offer that expressly included the Retrieval Ready 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

  2. The purchaser completed at least 75% of the required course lessons.

  3. The refund request was submitted within 90 calendar days of the original purchase date.

  4. The purchaser confirms that, despite completing the required portion of the program, they do not feel more prepared to navigate their egg retrieval experience.

How Course Completion Is Measured

The 75% requirement is calculated using the required course lessons included in the purchased program.

Optional bonus materials, downloadable checklists, supplemental resources, and materials not designated as required lessons are excluded from this calculation.

Course completion is determined using the progress information recorded by the Kajabi learning platform.

Purchasers are not required to complete an egg retrieval, undergo a particular medical treatment, follow specific medical or lifestyle recommendations, or disclose sensitive medical information to qualify for a refund.

Refund eligibility is based on the stated participation requirement and the purchaser's experience with the educational program, not on fertility treatment results or medical outcomes.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under this guarantee, submit a message through The Pretrimester's Contact page:

https://www.drlauracostello.com/site/contact

Your request must be received within 90 calendar days of your original purchase date.

Please identify your message as a "Retrieval Ready Refund Request" and include:

  • The email address associated with your purchase.

  • A statement requesting a refund under the 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

  • Confirmation that you completed the required course lessons but do not feel more prepared after participating.

We may verify the original purchase date and lesson completion using available Kajabi account records.

No private medical records, fertility treatment results, or explanations of personal health circumstances are required.

Refund Processing

If a refund request meets the eligibility requirements, The Pretrimester will refund the full amount paid toward the eligible Retrieval Ready course purchase.

For an eligible purchase made through installments, amounts already collected will be refunded and remaining installment charges for that purchase will be canceled.

Refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method where feasible.

The time required for a refund to appear in the purchaser's account may depend on the payment provider.

No administrative or cancellation fee will be deducted from an approved refund under this guarantee.

Following a full refund, access to the refunded course may be discontinued.

Guarantee Conditions

The 90-day period begins on the original purchase date, not the date the course is first accessed or completed.

Requests submitted after the 90-day period are not eligible under this voluntary guarantee, except where applicable law provides additional rights.

The guarantee applies to eligible Retrieval Ready course purchases. It does not automatically extend to separately purchased coaching, consultations, workshops, physical therapy, or other products or services.

Nothing in this guarantee limits mandatory refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights provided by applicable law.

The 75% course-completion requirement and 90-day deadline are material conditions of this guarantee and must also be clearly disclosed on the Retrieval Ready sales page and before purchase.

9. Refunds and Cancellations for Other Offerings

Refund, cancellation, and rescheduling policies for offerings other than eligible Retrieval Ready purchases may differ.

Applicable terms will be disclosed in the relevant product description, checkout, booking confirmation, or separate service agreement.

Purchases made through third-party retailers, including books purchased through Amazon, are subject to the retailer's applicable transaction, return, and refund terms.

Coaching programs, workshops, consultations, and physical therapy services may be governed by separate payment, cancellation, and service agreements.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies provided by applicable law.

10. Fertility Coaching and Licensed Physical Therapy Services

The Pretrimester may offer both educational coaching and licensed women's health physical therapy services.

Educational coaching may include information, practical strategies, organizational support, encouragement, and assistance navigating personal decisions.

Licensed physical therapy services are distinct from general educational programming and may establish a professional healthcare provider-patient relationship.

Whether a particular interaction constitutes regulated healthcare depends upon the services actually provided, the professional role involved, applicable laws, and the circumstances of care, not solely on the service's name.

Licensed physical therapy services are subject to applicable professional standards, licensing requirements, clinical documentation, informed consent obligations, privacy protections, and patient rights.

Separate clinical agreements and applicable law govern those healthcare relationships.

Nothing in these Terms waives, excludes, or limits professional duties that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

11. No Guaranteed Health or Fertility Outcomes

The Pretrimester does not guarantee pregnancy, successful egg retrieval, improvements in fertility, specific health outcomes, or other medical or reproductive results through participation in educational courses, coaching programs, or informational resources.

Individual circumstances and results vary.

Educational products are intended to improve understanding and support informed participation. They do not replace individualized care or instructions from qualified healthcare professionals.

Additional information is provided in our Medical Disclaimer.

12. Privacy and Electronic Communications

Our collection, use, and handling of personal information through the Website are addressed by our Privacy Policy:

https://www.drlauracostello.com/pages/privacy-policy

Marketing email subscriptions are subject to applicable consent requirements.

Subscribers may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the instructions provided in those messages.

Transaction-related and service-related communications may continue where permitted or required by law.

General Website forms, email, social media, and educational course messaging are not intended for urgent medical communication or the submission of detailed sensitive health information.

Where established clinical relationships exist, separate communication procedures and applicable privacy requirements govern patient information.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may reference or link to third-party websites, retailers, payment processors, learning platforms, publications, organizations, products, and services.

Such references are provided for convenience or informational purposes and do not necessarily constitute endorsements.

The Pretrimester does not control independent third-party websites or their content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

Transactions conducted directly with third parties may be governed by their additional terms and policies.

14. Website Availability and Updates

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the Website and provide access to purchased educational offerings in accordance with the applicable purchase terms.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical difficulties, service-provider outages, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may update the organization, presentation, or content of the Website and educational products from time to time.

Changes affecting existing purchasers remain subject to the access rights, purchase commitments, and legal protections applicable to their transactions.

15. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and general educational materials are provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or suitability for every individual circumstance.

General educational information is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, professional evaluation, or treatment.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Pretrimester is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general educational content in place of individualized professional advice.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for professional negligence, fraud, intentional misconduct, violations of nonwaivable consumer rights, or other legal responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms restricts legal duties or patient rights arising from an established healthcare provider-patient relationship.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, subject to applicable conflict-of-law principles and mandatory consumer protections.

Nothing in this section deprives consumers of rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

17. Changes to These Terms

The Pretrimester may revise these Terms to reflect changes in business practices, products, services, technology, or legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be made available on the Website with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retroactively diminish existing contractual purchase rights or override terms applicable to an earlier transaction unless lawfully agreed or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Where additional notice or affirmative consent is legally required, we will provide it.

18. Contact Information

For questions concerning these Terms, purchases, refunds, or available services, please contact The Pretrimester through our Website:

Please do not submit urgent medical concerns or detailed sensitive health information through general Website contact forms.
